lives and works in New York City [USA]
Judith Barry studied at the University of California, Berkeley,
and received a MFA from New York Institute of Technology. Her work
crosses a number of disciplines: performance, installation, film/video,
sculpture, photography, new media. She has exhibited internationally
at such venues as the Venice Biennale of Art/Architecture, São
Paulo Biennale, Whitney Biennale, Nagoya Biennale, Cairo Biennale,
Carnegie International, Australian Biennale, among others. In 2000,
she won the »Kiesler Prize for Architecture and the Arts«
and was awarded »Best Pavilion« at the Cairo Biennale.
Currently, she is working on a book about art and technology, several
installation projects and a Web-based work.
