Davide Grassi graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Milan
in 1994. Since 1995 he has lived and worked in Ljubljana, where
he has collaborated with various artists and institutions. Grassis
artistic work has a strong social connotation and is characterized
by an intermediatic approach taking advantage of the widest range
of communications possibilities offered by new digital technologies.
His videos, performances, documentaries, installations and new media
works have been presented worldwide in the context of festivals
and exhibitions.
Since April 2002 Grassi directs the Institute for Contemporary Art
production, Aksioma based in Ljubljana.
