Perry Hoberman ist Performance- und Installationskünstler, dessen Werk in internationalen Museen und auf zahlreichen Festivals vertreten ist. Charakteristisch für die Arbeiten Hobermans ist die Verbindung von Technologien aus unterschiedlichen Abschnitten des Medienzeitalters. Das humorvolle und ironische Spiel mit den Gerätschaften, ihren Funktionen und den an sie gestellten Erwartungen, verdeutlicht ihre oftmals kaum mehr bemerkte Einflußnahme auf den Alltag.
