	Darij Kreuh - > work in the exhibition [SLO] media artist * 02/25/1966, Maribor [SLO] lives and works in Ljubljana [SLO] Darij Kreuh graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts Ljubljana in 1996 and specialized in sculpture and video at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana. He has been a member of the Association of Artists since 1996. Kreuh's work encompasses performances, interactive and internet-based installations, as well as sound installations and virtual reality projects. A focus of his work as a researcher and media artist is the exploration of manipulation systems within digital technology. Communication intermediaries in the man-machine relationship present the primary basis through which he has developed his critical perspective of the change of society and social paradigms as a consequence of information processes. In the last few years Kreuh's research has centered on the development virtual reality systems which are based on publicly accessible technology. He has cooperated with the Faculty of Information and Computer Science in Ljubljana and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Information and Computer Science in Maribor. He organizes and runs workshops for virtual reality and simulation systems.
