Tangible Sound – Symposium
Darstellung physikalischer Modelle im Museumsraum

Das Thema »Tangibility« ist die Grundlage für das im Rahmen des Festivals »Tangible Sound« stattfindende Symposium. Neueste Ergebnisse, welche das FabLab Barcelona, ACROE in Grenoble sowie die Universitäten von Cardiff und Korfu auf diesem Gebiet erzielen, werden im Programm vorgestellt. Neue Interfaces spielen heute eine zunehmende Rolle. Die Entwicklung von Methoden, welche Algorithmen, Simulationen oder andere mathematische Verfahren erfahrbar, erlebbar oder berührbar machen können, ist hierbei essenziell.

BesucherInnen können von Freitag bis Sonntag zudem spannende Installationen der Projektpartner entdecken, welche die Themen des Symposiums veranschaulichen und diese auch vor Ort erlebbar machen. Ein Highlight während des Symposiums wird die Performance »The machine to be another« des Kollektivs BeAnotherLab sein, welche sowohl am Samstag und Sonntag im Anschluss an das Vortragsprogramm zu sehen sein wird.
