Whether for children, young people, adults or as a family, school class, kindergarten group or teacher – you can visit and explore the ZKM exhibitions with us – from a guided tour to creative activities in front of the artworks to tinkering in the Maker-Space BÄM in the middle of the exhibition room. Information about offers for people with disabilities is available on request.
For Groups
In addition to public guided tours, you as an institution, company, school class, kindergarten or private group can book a special guided tour, an overview and theme tour, an action tour or a workshop. Feel free to contact us – you will find all the details at the bottom of the page.

You would like to celebrate your birthday at ZKM? We would be happy to advise you about our wide range of birthday offers!
For Children and Families
Our Museum Communication also offers a varied program for children and families at the weekends, during holidays or on selected afternoons.
Spend a Sunday at the ZKM together with your children, grandchildren, nephews and nieces: the family Sundays of the Museum Communication invite families to an unforgettable art experience! Visit one of the current exhibitions with us in order to incorporate what you have seen into a joint artistic work. Numerous practical educational offers playfully promote the handling of digital and analogue materials.
Advanced Training for Teaching Staff
In cooperation with the Regional Council Karlsruhe, the Museum Communication offers advanced courses for teachers at specified dates.
The interdisciplinary and inter-school events are aimed at all teachers who wish to continue their education in the field of fine arts and new media, as well as to use current programmes for creative applications in the future.
