Desiree Weiler

Desiree Weiler M.A. is a project coordinator in the events department at ZKM | Karlsruhe. She studied German language and literature, sociology and global history in Karlsruhe, Vienna and Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

At ZKM, she first worked in the team of the artistic-scientific director Peter Weibel. Since 2018, she has been working on participatory and digital event formats. She was responsible for the dialog events »Digitality and Responsibility« as well as »Digitality and Cultural Institutions« of Ministerium für Wissenschaft, Forschung und Kunst Baden-Württemberg [Ministry of Science, Research and Art Baden-Wuerttemberg] and took over the production management for the multi-day »Streaming Festival Critical Zones« in 2020.
