Sybille Neumeyer

Biography

Sybille Neumeyer is an interdependent artist and researcher, with focus on relationships between human and non-human and on ecological issues. Her research draws from various fields of knowledge – often in collaboration and exchange with scientists and experts – which opens post-disciplinary perspectives for her work. Through polyphonic narration, installations, participatory workshops, performative lectures and video essays she is examining the intersections of bio-cultural-diversity loss, climate crisis and more-than-human health. Her projects are supported by institutions and artist-residencies, like Akademie Schloss Solitude, ARCUS Project, ZKM, Jan van Eyck Akademie, amongst others, and her works shown on international exhibitions.
