Ulf Langheinrich (*1960) is a visual artist and composer whose work is mainly concerned with nonnarrative environments and performances. In 1990, he founded the project Granular Synthesis with Kurt Hentschläger in Vienna. Since 2003 he has worked on his own projects, which have previously been shown in various exhibitions at the ZKM. He was a selected artist at the Ars Electronica in Linz and has taught as a guest professor at numerous universities all over the world. Since 2016 he is artistic director of the international festival for computer-based art CYNETART in Dresden. Ulf Langheinrich lives and works in Dresden.
