Open Calls & Current Projects
The Hertz-Lab is particularly active in the promotion and presentation of electronic music and digital art through guest artist programs.
Within the framework of production scholarships and in cooperation with international partner institutions, several residencies can be advertised each year on various topics, primarily in the field of acoustics, visual media or software development. The Hertz-Lab has several studios and an extended infrastructure available for artistic production. Some calls are recurrent, such as the call for production scholarships in the context of the Giga-Hertz Award or the Joint ZKM | IRCAM Residency, other residencies are developed project-related and thus vary in terms of duration, framework concept and topic.
