Das Bündnis für kulturelle Bildung aims to raise awareness of the precarious conditions in cultural education and cultural mediation from a cross-sector perspective and to bring about a change in structures, funding and financial security, especially for independent and hybrid workers. To this end, the group collected valid data on the field of cultural education in 2023, seeks to exchange ideas and joins forces with other activists and interest groups nationwide. It develops strategic proposals for politicians, foundations, study programs and cultural institutions. The aim is to focus not only on the working conditions for those already active in the field, but also on universities curricula and the accessibility of the labour market from a diversity perspective. We are also developing further training and empowerment programs for independent workers in the field.
