Masterclass at ZKM 2019/2020

After five successful MASTERCLASS years, the following scholarship holders were selected for the upcoming »MASTERCLASS 2019/2020« at the jury meeting this August.

The scholarship recipients of the sixth MASTERCLASS are: Franka Breunig, Ron Clark, Yannick Dankert, Marie Elsner and Veronika Wendler.

The scholarship recipients are artistically talented students from various Karlsruhe schools and between 15 and 19 years old. In the coming months, they will receive a comprehensive range of workshops in the fields of video, audio and photography in order to further develop their own artistic ideas and visions. They will be accompanied by professional artists and a mentoring program that will help them to create a larger artistic work for the group exhibition in summer 2020.

This year there will be various workshop modules by artist in residency Aline Couri, who teaches art history, media and technology at Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ).
