The documentation of the Central Archives of the International Art Trade (ZADIK) presented as part the exhibition EXIT_Ausstieg aus dem Bild is devoted to four famous artists: Gerhard Richter, Sigmar Polke, Konrad Lueg and Manfred Kuttner. The panel discussion Right at the Start / How Everything Began invites the audience to follow the artists’ beginnings from a personal and art history point of view and to join in the debate.

Art historian Hubertus Butin talks about the early friendship between the artists and Manfred Kuttner, as one of the quartet, describes things from his point of view.
