The University of Music Karlsruhe as Guest at ZKM | Institute for Music and Acoustics – 2012
Tue, January 31, 2012 – Fri, February 03, 2012, Concert
The annual concerts of the University of Music Karlsruhe (HfM) at the ZKM | Karlsruhe have been a lasting cooperation since 2007. On January 31 the University presents new compositions from Wolfgang Rihm's composition class. On February 2 and 3 new pieces from the degree programme composition and music informatics under the direction of Thomas A. Troge will be performed. They ressemble the work results of the students elaborated inside the "ComputerStudio".

The "ComputerStudio" of the University of Music serves mainly as an education studio for students of three university institutes: the institute for musicology, the institute for new music and media, and the institute "LernRadio". It thereby forms a core area where students not only learn but also come into contact with each other and experience the methods of neighboring disciplines.
