Luke Fowler: Pilgrimage from Scattered Points

"Pilgrimage from Scattered Points" is a film about the English composer Cornelius Cardew (1936–1981) and The Scratch Orchestra (1968–1973). Cornelius Cardew formed the orchestra with Michael Parsons and Howard Skempton in 1968. "Musical enthusiasts" who were certainly not professional musicians, but students, office workers, etc., created together with musicians and composers a unique form of design and implementaion of new musical practices that have far-reaching effects by today.
