We are pleased that the ARD brings Robert Wilson to the ZKM again. The artist, writer, director and choreographer was in 2010 at the ZKM⎥Museum of Contemporary Art with an exhibition, and presents now his live radio play at the ZKM_Medientheater in the context of the ARD Radio Play Days.

The play will be presented in form of a Public Recording Session and is an assembly: A variety of texts, sound and music, always being combined new: Fragments from antiquity, the early modern and recent present. Lucretius stands next to Goethe, Hölderlin next to Gertrude Stein, Ezra Pound alongside Christopher Knowles. 

Wilson devotes the first time to the purely acoustic effect in this sound-musical construct. Among the speakers who live on site, include, among others Isabelle Huppert, Christopher Knowles, Jürgen Holtz and Robert Wilson himself.

At the information desk of the ARD Radio Play Days in the ZKM_Foyer, free admission tickets are available on that day from 5.45 p.m.
