Emily King | The license and limitations of »Lifestyle«
Part of the course of lectures »Art Media Design«
Wed, December 07, 2016 6.30 pm CET, Lecture
Emily King is a design historian who both writes and curates. From an initial specialism in graphic design, she has branched out to explore art, architecture, product design, fashion and food. As well as being a contributing editor to The Gentlewoman, she writes for a range of publications including Frieze and Apartamento.
In her talk she will talk through her own experience of the relationships between art and design, theory and practice, writing and curating, and academia and lifestyle. The session will be discursive from the start. Your input will be welcomed.
