With Sonic Pi we code music:  From just a few lines of code we create the most interesting sounds and build a cool track out of the pieces.

We have a large selection of synthesizers and audio samples to choose from and you can define the character of your music by yourself. In no time, you can assign effects to your programmed beats or change the arrangement. You'll have a lot of fun until the track is ready.  But then it's on! With your new acquired skills you will mutate into a live coder in no time and perform in real time with Sonic Pi.  We'll join together as a Live Coding Band and will rock the stage!

For this workshop it is not necessary to play a musical instrument. Sonic Pi is a free software and runs on all common platforms.
